New Medicine Service
When you are prescribed a medicine to treat a long-time conditons for the first time, the pharmicist will support you to use the medicine safely and to best effect.
The pharmacist will talk to you approximately one week after you first receive the medicine to see how you are getting on with it and to discuss any problems you may have. A second follow up will be three weeks after you first receive the medicine. The service is only available to people using certain medicines.
Free Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC)
All our pharmacies can sell EHC to over 16’s however only those in certain areas can give EHC free of charge.
Alcohol Awareness
Many of us drink more than we are advised to and dont necessarily feel there is anything wrong because we feel healthy. Our pharmacies can help you understand about the dangers of drinking more than we should, how we can monitor the alcohol units we consume and at which point we need to acknowledge that we are consuming too much.
