Electronic Prescription Service
Fill in the form. You will need your NHS number or contact one of our branches/nearest branch
If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP pratice to pick up your partner prescription. Instead, your GP will send it electronically to the place you choose, saving you time.
Your medicines can be collected from a Trust pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as there will be time for your repeat prescriptions to be ready before you arrive.
Or a Trust pharmacy can deliver your medication to your home.
You do not have to have your prescriptions sent from your doctor to your pharmacy using the EPS but, if you choose to have paper prescriptions, you cannot choose to have your prescriptions sent automatically to a particular pharmacy.
If you decide to use the EPS, you may choose any EPS pharmacy.
Electronic prescriptions will be sent directly from your doctors computer to the pharmacy computer. Paper prescriptions are not required. The service will be secure and confidential.
You can choose to have your prescriptions sent to another pharmacy at any time, including part way through a series of repeat prescriptions collected briefly from the pharmacy (repeat dispensing).
Trust pharmacies can also process prescriptions for appliances and dressings electronically.
